Ken

K en has been around ever since the first Street Fighter installment and he is back in Puzzle Fighter as a formidable character. His attack pattern is very simple. He attacks with the colors alternating in horizontal rows. This attack pattern is one of the most effective patterns in the game if used properly. Ken is a good character for beginners because once counterblocks are laid, they are hard to get rid of. However, Ken has a very blatant flaw that should be recognized. His flaw is that the first row of his attack is all red. When he attacks with 1-15 blocks, they will be mostly red. Therefore, your opponent will be able to amass a huge gem of red. This poses the fundamental problem of using Ken--either you attack with a good amount of blocks so that you are able to utilize his striated patterns, or you try not to attack at all. When Ken attacks "half-heartedly" the opponent will definetely be the benefactor. Nevertheless, Ken is a solid character. A prime choice for both beginners and advanced players.
